Rhonda Evatt
Health Science Instructor
What are your key CTE responsibilities in your current job role?
As a CTE teacher, I spend most of my time teaching students in our health science program. I also invite and plan for guest speakers and lead other activities related to health science education.
Why do you feel CTE is important to the future of education?
I believe that students should learn skills that help them be successful in post-secondary careers and education. CTE programs incorporate these skills to prepare learners for the future.
What is the biggest benefit students can receive from enrolling in CTE programs/course?
CTE provides the foundation for the careers students pursue. Whether they are working toward a specific career, certification, or college education, CTE programs develop skills for the workplace.
What are some of your hobbies?
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and woodworking. I also love watching my grandson on the baseball field!
