Heather Martin

Before joining Team iCEV in 2022 as Human Resources Director, Heather Martin worked in a wide range of industries including automotive and healthcare bringing a wealth of knowledge and a passion for supporting the iCEV team. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in General Business & a master’s degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. After graduating, Martin began working in the Transportation Industry, servicing commercial trucking companies and independent contractors before transitioning into healthcare human resources in 2016. In December of 2018, Martin accepted a Director of Human Resources position at South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital and moved to Lubbock to begin recruiting staff and opening the facility leading to her finding iCEV.

In Martin’s current role as Director of Human Resources, she executes a wide variety of jobs including reviewing payroll, performing employee audits, working with benefits providers and “spending lots of time in spreadsheets” she said. “I love helping people,” Martin said, “In my role, I’m able to help my iCEV teammates every day and that’s what I love most about my job,”  

Outside of work, Martin enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Ryan and their two dogs, Jack and Oliver. Martin also loves to cook and entertain in which she and her husband host a weekly game night at their home with all of their friends.
