Melony Ritter
CTE Director, Cabarrus County Schools
Melony Ritter is the Career and Technical Education Director, making waves in Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) and beyond. Originally from New York, Melony's passion for education was sparked by a desire to help students discover their career paths and achieve their dreams. After obtaining a BSBA and MPS from Alfred University she moved to North Carolina to begin her career in Education.
Melony Ritter is a standout leader in supporting CTE programs and fostering teacher growth. With a keen ability to design and implement impactful professional development (PD) programs, she ensures that CCS’s CTE offerings are always aligned with the evolving needs of students and community partners. She’s deeply committed to preparing students for success, creating training for educators, and fostering partnerships with businesses to expand work-based learning opportunities. With a career dedicated to mentorship, innovation, and career readiness, Melony continues to leave a lasting impact on students, educators, and the community.
Kendra Glover
CTE Coordinator - Career Development, Cabarrus County Schools
As a dedicated advocate for Career and Technical Education (CTE) in North Carolina, Kendra Glover serves as the CTE Coordinator – Career Development for Cabarrus County Schools in Concord. A graduate of East Carolina University with BSBA and MBA degrees, Kendra transitioned from a successful industry career to a role in education, inspired by her mother’s legacy as an educator. She began her journey in CTE as a Business Education teacher, where she also coached cheerleading and advised Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
In 2007, Kendra advanced to school-level CTE leadership, spearheading transformative initiatives across three high school CTE programs. Her leadership includes launching a new high school and establishing two career academies, fostering innovative pathways for student success. Since January 2024, Kendra has been at the helm of the district’s career development efforts, connecting students with opportunities that prepare them for thriving futures in the workforce.
Outside of her professional achievements, Kendra is a proud mother to her high school sophomore daughter, Ava, and enjoys spending time with their beloved fur baby, Sylvia.
