Board of Education-Approved Industry Credentials

To encourage more students to work toward a selected industry credential or state license while pursuing a high school diploma, the Path to Industry Certification: High School Industry Credentialing program was developed.

Industry certifications are one of the required performance measures of the Virginia Perkins V State Plan for the federal Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act.

Virginia Board of Education-Approved Industry Credentials meet VDOE's "Standards of Accreditation" and fulfill graduation requirements for the Standard Diploma.
