TIA Allotment On-Demand Webinar
Learn how you can receive TIA funding by implementing iCEV’s new pre- and post-testing features for both industry certifications hosted on the iCEV Testing Platform and iCEV’s state-approved, TEKS-aligned courses.
Benefits of Utilizing TIA Allotment with iCEV

- Earn credit for courses and industry certifications your district is already using
- Utilize pre- and post-tests for IBC approved industry certifications
- Measure state-approved, TEKs-aligned courses with pre- and post-tests
- Showcase growth reporting in one tool
How it Works
- File TIA paperwork using iCEV by selecting option 2: “a 3rd party pre-test, the district setting growth targets, and a 3rd party post-test.”
- Enable pre- and post-tests for your iCEV courses. Have students take the pre-test before completing the coursework.
Note: Since the pre- and post-testing feature will be enabled district-wide, only CTE Directors or TIA administrators can initially request activation. - Utilize lessons, projects and exams on iCEV to prepare for the post-test.
- At the conclusion of the course, a post-test with the same 50 questions as the pre-test is offered.
- The percentage growth will be measured by TEKS.
- iCEV assists districts in determining end-of-year student growth by providing reports detailing growth by standard between pre-test and final exam.
- Review data included in growth reporting, including the following metrics:
- Course completion
- Attempts
- Pass rate
- Average time
- Average score
